 * Technology -- Earth Quadra Series *

They are the fourth colony ship to be sent out from various nations on Earth, equipped with futuristic scientific technology. Building new colonies, with a mindset of cooperation and collaboration unlike that of twenty-first-century mankind, which was bent on domination.

… Where to Begin …

The mandate for the team was that they were the advanced group who would establish the dwellings and infrastructure (using very cool and unique science) to prepare for the much larger group of colonists that were to arrive four to five years later.

The planets to be colonized were pre-selected from mapping expeditions conducted a decade before. The planets were chosen for their hospitable and benign environment, conducive to a comfortable human existence. Where they ended up is nothing like what they expected and now must adapt quickly or suffer loss. 

Even intelligent and well-equipped individuals have difficulty adapting quickly to a hostile environment, after coming from Earth which had been tamed, for generations; and the lessons learned are costly.

The three-person security team accompanying the group tries to convince them of the dangers of this world, for which they are ill-equipped to defend against. The engineers eventually design new weapons for protection, and they figure out how to utilize the AMCD (Mapping Drone) to carry their small MIRRORS (Short Distance Subspace Travel) to explore the planet, and soon find out that they are not alone.

The EATAC was designed from technology that the Kennari Af Visku brought to Earth in the early twenty-first century. It turns matter into pure energy and stores it in the device, to be later turned back into solid matter in a different form. It de-molecularizes any form of matter it touches and can be used to charge other devices, through its energy cell. E.A.T.A.C. – Energy Assimilation Transference And Construction.

One particular device called a MIRRORS, which was brought to Earth by the  Kennari Af Visku, a benevolent alien species that visited Earth in the early part of the twenty-first century. The acronym stands for Molecular Integration, Rapid Restoration on Resurfacing Subspace (short-range subspace travel) will be featured prominently in the story.

Another technology provided by the Kennari Af Visku to Earth in the early twenty-first century was anti-gravity. Built into these gloves, as well as other devices, they are used to generate a directed repulsor and tractor beam for moving much heavier objects at a distance. They work in conjunction with gravity boots, and a localized gravity field generator, which can adjust the gravity up or down, within a specific circumference.

More advanced technology will be revealed in the story as it continues.
