Synopsis
* Synopsis -- Earth Quadra Series *
In 2112, a select team of international scientists and engineers, along with five children, are on their way to a new planet to set up the infrastructure for Earth’s fourth colonial outpost, prior to the arrival of the main body of colonists. Due to an accident in space, they find themselves stranded on a mysterious hostile world, where they must survive until rescue arrives.
It begins—with an accidental encounter in the Milky Way Galaxy in the distant past, which causes an accident on an Earth colonizing transport ship far into the future.
A transport ship, named Earth Quadra is en route to humanity's fourth colonial outpost, with an infrastructure team of fifty-eight adults and five children protected in stasis pods. They encounter intense neutron radiation and a massive electromagnetic pulse that damages the ship and the flight crew. As the engineer's race to repair the damage, the ship's doctor delivers a challenging diagnosis to the captain. Faced with the ultimate decision, the captain makes one final effort to give the passengers a chance to survive. Find out how this choice pans out for all those on board.
